FLORA DINDO- 93, of Goshen passed away peacefully in Community Hospice House, on Sunday, November 17, 2013. Born in Goshen, on October 25, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Virginia Tamborini Terazzi. Flora was a faithful member of the Community of Christ Church, in New Philadelphia. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens of Tuscarawas and the New Philadelphia AARP. Flora loved to tend to her gardens in addition to traveling where she met many friends. She was also fortunate to travel to Italy a few times to learn about her heritage and spend time with family.
She will be deeply missed by her children including Bonnie (Robert “Milo”) Eckhardt, of New Philadelphia, James (Judy) Dindo, of Littleton, CO, and Dale Dindo, of Goshen; her sister Doris (Ralph) Inverso, of Dover; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Luke “Luigi”, Albert “
Bert” and William “Bill” Terazzi.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory, at New Philadelphia, on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. A service celebrating Flora’s life will be held in the funeral home’s chapel on Wed., beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park at New Phila. Friends are invited to the Geib Family Center following the committal service where a meal will be shared. Flora’s family is very grateful to the staff at Amberwood Manor who provided wonderful care to her while she was a resident at the nursing home.
