Nathan David Albury, a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away June 16, 2015. Born in Canton, on May 27, 1984, he was the son of Phillip and Suzanne (Winters) Albury.
After graduating from New Philadelphia High School in 2003, where he played football and basketball, Nathan continued his formal education at Otterbein University, ultimately obtaining his bachelor’s degree in business from Malone University, in 2014. While he was working toward his degree, Nathan was employed at Timken Co.
His faith was nurtured at Sacred Heart Church, in New Philadelphia and also in Clearwater, Florida at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. There, he volunteered in a variety of capacities, especially instrumental in the creation of a young adult group. Nathan was a 2nd degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of 4-H.
Fishing, reading, traveling, fantasy sports and cheering on Notre Dame were all hobbies of his. Most importantly, Nathan was a loving, kindhearted young man, always willing to lend a hand to anyone he encountered. He had a wonderful sense of humor which lent to making friends easily. Nathan also enjoyed spending time with his family, and being on the water whether it was at Clearwater Beach, in Florida or Atwood Lake.
He will be deeply missed by his family including his parents Phillip and Suzanne, of New Philadelphia, his siblings, Seth Albury of Dover, Chris Albury of Akron, Lauren (Billy) Hager of Ocala, Florida and Melissa Albury of New Philadelphia, his grandparents, Kenny and Dorothy Winters of New Philadelphia, his nephew, Tyler McDade, his dog Charlie Brown, along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Bonnie’s dad took her to see Roy Rogers, Sr. for her birthday in 1945 and her hubby took her to
meet his son for her birthday in 2007.
1/2 lb. spaghetti
1 can tomato soup
1 can milk
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 jar olives, sliced
1 8-oz. pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
1 stick oleo
bread crumbs
Cook spaghetti and drain. Pour soup into pan. Fill soup can with milk and add to soup. Heat and add cheese. When melted, mix well. Add olives and mushrooms. Stir in spaghetti. Place in casserole dish and top with crumbs. Slice oleo on top of crumbs. Bake until bubbly, about 45 minutes, at 350 degrees.
Susan Albury
Phillip John Albury and Suzanne Sever Winters Albury were married July 22, 1972 in the First Christian Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio. They initially lived in the Schoenbrunn area. In approximately 1978, We purchased the current property from John White, which was part of the Oppy Farm with the Green Bank Barn. We fenced in the pasture and raised beef steers. In 1980, we built our ranch home. We have 3 sons and 2 daughters. Seth Phillip Albury (August 1980), Christopher John Albury (October 1982), Nathan David Albury (May 1984), Lauren Suzanne Albury “Dolly” (February 1988), Melissa Elizabeth Albury “Princess” (September 1990). The Albury’s have 1 grandson, Tyler (April 1999) that is Seth’s son. Grandma Kate Hanlon (Goshen Resident) was the family babysitter for 18 years. Goshen has been a great place for our family to grow up. The Land of Goshen Valley is the best location to live and the nicest neighbors!
